The animal that symbolizes 2021 is a White Cow.

Ssireum, one of the Korean folk games, is an old sport known to have started around the 4th century. It is older than Japan's sumo, and is a unique sport similar to the old sports of Mongolia and Turkey, but with different rules and forms.
Ssireum reached its heyday in the 1920s. It is a tradition to award healthy cows to the champions. Cows are animals that play an important role in agricultural society.
In this work, I dressed a cow with a cloth belt and handle, 'satba', which is used in ssireum, to represent 'jangsa', the champion of ssireum.

Let's beat COVID-19 with strong strength like a reliable white cow, and find good health and happiness again.
